Second Shipment of medical supplies shipped to Kenya
On April 6th, 2010, Doc to Dock shipped a 40-foot container of medical supplies to the "Free the Children" Clinic outside of Nairobi, Kenya. This container was funded by a grant from the The Sanam Vaziri Quraishi Foundation (SVQF). The recipient clinic provides medical care to approximately 25,000 villagers in rural Kenya. It also provides maternal and child health care, HIV-AIDs counselling, testing and treatment, minor surgical procedures and triage care. In the near future, it is expected that with the completion of a new road, the clinic will be serving a much greater population.

Doc to Dock delivers medicines and medical supplies to St Damien orphanage in Haiti
On Saturday March 6th, 2010 Doc to Dock delivered to Haiti almost 1400 pounds of vitally needed medical supplies, including cases of antibiotics, analgesics, pediatric crutches and infant formula. The supplies were donated to the St. Damien Children’s Hospital in Port-au-Prince thanks to the generosity of Abigail Disney, the Daphne Foundation and Flexjet. The North Shore-LIJ Health System donated the antibiotics, analgesics and infant formula specifically for this trip. Also, included in their donation were pediatric crutches, pediatric wound dressings and various surgical supplies.

Doc to Dock delivers emergency relief to Haiti
On Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 Doc to Dock in partnership with Flex Jet and Partners in Health shipped almost 2000 pounds of urgently needed medical supplies to Cange, Haiti. Doc to Dock ships first container to Senegal
On September 8, 2009 a 40-foot shipping container left the US, heading for Dakar, Senegal. The much needed equipment and supplies will be received by The Health Center of Nabil Choucair. Doc to Dock advisory board member, Moustapha Diakhate, who resides in Dakar, will both help to facilitate the delivery of the container as well as represent Doc to Dock in the “handing over” ceremony.

The Archbishop of Kumasi receives the third annual Surplus into Survival Award
Doc to Dock held its third annual Surplus Into Survival Event in New York City on June 2nd, 2009. Archbishop Thomas Mensah was honored on behalf of the entire Archdiocese of Kumasi for their vital role in safeguarding Doc to Dock's supply deliveries to public hospitals in Ghana.
