Ways to Help:

Doc to Dock is dedicated to improving global health while helping our environment through the recovery and redistribution of surplus medical and surgical supplies to developing countries. We need your help. Doc to Dock’s operations and success depend on the efforts of its volunteers.

Volunteer Time or Talent:

• Please join us in this humanitarian mission. We invite you to volunteer in our Brooklyn warehouse to sort and prepare medical supplies for shipment and/or to help with our many ongoing projects. People with computer, IT, graphics and grant writing experience are vitally needed. To volunteer, contact us at volunteer@doctodock.org or call 718 852-0655.

• Doc to Dock offers internship programs with flexible hours. Obtain school credit while helping to save lives.

Donate Medical Supplies:

• Hospital Recovery Program: Doc to Dock works with hospitals in the New York Metropolitan area to set up recovery programs to recycle surplus medical supplies. We are always looking to expand our outreach. If you have a contact at your local hospital, or would like to reach out to your local hospital on our behalf, please contact us at info@doctodock.org or call us at 718 852-0655. We offer in-service training to hospital staff, provide donation bins and provide regular pick-up service of donated supplies. We accept donations of unused, unexpired medical supplies and equipment as well as sterile surgical supplies such as syringes, sutures, intravenous lines and surgical gloves.

• Individuals: may donate durable supplies such as new or gently used walkers, crutches, wheel chair, etc by contacting us at info@doctodock.org or calling us at 718 852-0655. Donations while appreciated must be shipped to our warehouse at your own expense.

Make a Donation:

Your financial support is integral to Doc to Dock’s mission. We could not do what we do, without you. For every $20.00 you donate, we deliver a box filled with medical supplies valued at $400.00. This represents a 20 fold increase in value of what you donated to what we deliver. Please help us.

• $20 will sponsor one box of medical supplies valued at $400

• $100 will sponsor five boxes of medical supplies valued at $2,000

• $500 will sponsor half a pallet of medical supplies valued at $10,000

• $1,000 will sponsor a full Pallet of medical supplies valued at $20,000

• $10,000 will sponsor half a 40 foot container with a value of $200,000

• $20,000 will sponsor a 40 foot container with a value of $400,000

Doc to Dock accepts donations of miles from Delta Airlines. If you have miles that you would like to donate, please contact us at info@doctodock.org and we will send you the form necessary to accomplish this donation.
